About Rookiez

Rookiez is a project entirely conceived, written and created by Davide Lucchesi, in order to play a management simulation of motorcycle racing completely for free, because the MotoGP and Superbike championships last too little when compared to the size of our passion.

To develop the game we used Open-Source technologies like Linux, OpenVZ, Apache, MySQL, PHP and jQuery, and the primary development environment is an Asus EeePC 900 with Kubuntu and Netbeans. Many icons and graphic images belong to the Oxygen theme for KDE. 

The software tools that grnted the Rookiez development are, in addition to the aforementioned, the OxCMS framework developed by D-Sign, to which the author was able to provide some contributions, and D-Sign itself also provided hospitality for the site in their technological structure. 

DaiDalGas.com has contributed to the layout and developed the logo of the site.
